Matthew Magnotta has a diverse work experience spanning from 2002 to the present. Their most recent position is as Vice President of Legal at Commonwealth Trust Company, a role they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, they were a Senior Trust Counsel at the same company from 2018 to 2023.

Before joining Commonwealth Trust Company, Matthew worked at Christiana Trust, a division of Wilmington Savings Fund Society, FSB. Matthew held various roles there from 2015 to 2018, including Trust Tax Manager, AVP; Trust Officer; Personal Trust Administrator; and Trust Analyst.

From 2013 to 2014, Matthew worked as a Trust Analyst at UBS Trust, where they conducted legal reviews and ensured compliance with regulations and internal policies.

Earlier in their career, Matthew Magnotta worked as an Associate at Clarke and Associates from 2010 to 2014, drafting estate documents and providing counsel to estate executors. Matthew also worked as an Associate Counsel at Abington Memorial Hospital from 2009 to 2013, handling various legal matters including transactional, employment law, fraud and abuse, and research and support.

Matthew's work experience also includes a role as an Assistant Manager at Hollywood Video in 2006 and an internship at Cumberland County District Attorney's Office in 2002.

Matthew Magnotta has an extensive education history. Matthew obtained their Estate Planning Certificate from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation at the same institution from 2016 to 2017. In 2010, they earned their Juris Doctorate degree with a specialization in Health Law from Widener University School of Law. Matthew's undergraduate studies were completed at Lebanon Valley College, where they received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in 2004. Matthew pursued a dual major in Political Science and Sociology during their time at Lebanon Valley College. In 2003, Matthew participated in a study abroad program at London Metropolitan University.
