Anthony Seebach has extensive experience in public service and governance, currently serving as the First Assistant Secretary in the Small and Family Business Division of the Commonwealth Treasury since April 2022, focusing on policy and program delivery. Previously held the role of First Assistant Secretary and Chief Counsel in the Law Division, overseeing legal and risk management. Anthony's background includes leadership positions in Services Australia, where responsibilities encompassed managing fraud control and service delivery, as well as roles in the Department of Social Services, Department of Home Affairs, Australian Border Force, and the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service. Anthony’s educational credentials from The Australian National University include a Bachelor of Laws, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice with Merit, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), and completion of the National Security College Senior Executive Development Program.
