Thomas Longenecker serves as the Chief Executive Officer and COO of Commonwealth Charter Academy Cyber Charter School since July 2012, focusing on supporting staff and enhancing educational and career exploration opportunities. Additionally, Longenecker has been an adjunct professor at Wilkes University since January 2010, teaching courses in School Finance and School Law, and previously taught School Finance at Shippensburg University from May 2011 to June 2013. Longenecker’s experience in educational finance includes roles as Finance Director at Carlisle Area School District from July 2007 to June 2012 and Director of Business at Conrad Weiser Area School District from April 2002 to June 2007. Longenecker holds a Master of Science in Education with a specialization in School Business Leadership from Wilkes University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Economics from Shippensburg University.
