Mary A. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Mary started their career in 1982 as a Special Education Teacher in Boston Public Schools. From 1983 to 1984, they worked as an Educational Co-Director at Wediko Children's Services. In 1985, Mary A. worked as a Constituent Advocate at the Governor's Office of Community Services and as a Policy and Research Analyst at the Department of Mental Health. Mary then moved on to Harvard University, where they held positions as a Budget Analyst from 1986 to 1988 and as an Assistant Director of Institutional Research from 1988 to 1992. Following their time at Harvard, they worked at the University of Pittsburgh as a Manager Executive Special Projects from 1992 to 1995. In 2005, Mary A. started their own educational consulting company, specializing in autism, which they ran until 2013. From 2009 to 2013, they also worked at Clinical and Support Options as an Outreach Clinician and then as an Outpatient Clinician. Since 2013, Mary A. has been with Commonwealth Care Alliance, initially serving as the Director of Behavioral Health and later becoming the Interim Vice President of Behavioral Health.
Mary A. has a Master's degree in Social Policy and Clinical Practice from Boston University. Mary also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education from the University of South Florida. Additionally, they have received training in RDI Relationship Development Intervention, focusing on the education and teaching of individuals with autism.
