Kelli Barrieau

Vice President Of Clinical Services at Commonwealth Care Alliance

Kelli Barrieau has a diverse work experience spanning multiple healthcare organizations. Kelli currently holds the position of Vice President of Clinical Services at Commonwealth Care Alliance, where they have been since February 2019. Prior to this role, they served as the Clinical Director from July 2017 to February 2019 and as the Associate Clinical Director from March 2017 to July 2017.

Kelli also has experience working as an Adjunct Faculty at the College of Our Lady of the Elms from January 2019 to October 2020.

In addition, Kelli has held various roles at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, including Quality Nurse from April 2013 to March 2017. Here, they performed concurrent reviews of medical records, met with nursing staff and physicians to improve documentation, and abstracted core measure focus studies using Midas.

Before that, Kelli worked at VNA & Hospice of Cooley Dickinson, where they served as the Director of Quality and VNA Nursing Operations from July 2010 to April 2013. In this role, they had overall responsibility for nursing operations and managed a team of nurses and other staff. Kelli was also the Quality Director from March 2008 to July 2010, overseeing clinical outcomes and providing clinical education on the McKesson Horizon Home Care clinical application.

Earlier in their career, Kelli was a Systems Administrator/Clinical Informaticist at Baystate Health, where they were responsible for the clinical oversight and implementation of the clinical documentation system for home care and hospice. Kelli also oversaw the process design for the clinical application and educated staff on its use.

Overall, Kelli Barrieau has extensive experience in clinical services, quality management, and nursing operations within the healthcare industry.

Kelli Barrieau obtained their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1988. Kelli then completed their Registered Nurse (RN) diploma at St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing from 1983 to 1986. Kelli went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Nursing and Healthcare Leadership from Elms College from 2014 to 2017. Kelli further pursued their education at Elms College and obtained a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in Health Service Innovation and Leadership from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, Kelli Barrieau has certifications as a Certified Health Insurance Executive (CHIE) from AHIP and as a Nurse Executive Advanced (NEA-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
