Upasana Singh is an Associate Data Scientist at Commonwealth Bank since July 2022, focusing on creating an end-to-end solution for customer segmentation related to the Benefits Finder in the CommBank app, which achieved significant improvements in engagement. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Analyst at HSBC from February 2021 to July 2022, where Upasana identified climate-related themes in media using NLP and conducted predictive analysis for loan repayments. Upasana also worked as a Business Analyst at Evalueserve from July 2018 to February 2021, managing data wrangling and reporting for a major e-commerce client. Earlier, a role as a Marketing Analyst at The Indian Economist was held in June 2017. Upasana holds a Master's degree in Economics from Jadavpur University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.
