Ellen Edwards is a seasoned professional in the field of speech and language pathology, currently serving as the Director of Student Support Services at Commonwealth Academy since August 2018. In this role, Ellen oversees and implements various support services, including speech/language, occupational therapy, counseling, and nursing, while collaborating with educators to enhance classroom accommodations. Prior to this position, Ellen owned the Reston Speech and Language Center for over two decades and worked as a Speech/Language Pathologist at the Annandale Fluency Clinic. Ellen holds a Master’s of Science in Speech/Language Pathology from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor’s of Science in Speech/Language Pathology and Psychology from James Madison University.
