Alison S. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alison most recently worked at CommonLit, where they held positions including Director of Data Science and Senior Data Scientist. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist at the same company. Alison also gained experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University and a Data Intern at EdVestors. Alison served as an Operations Coordinator at Year Up and an Analyst Fellow at Education Pioneers. In addition, Alison has held positions as a Program Coordinator and Program Empowerment Director at The DREAM Program, Inc. Alison has also interned at World Savvy and Healthy Buildings. Alison began their career as a Summer Camp Counselor at The Packer Collegiate Institute.

Alison S. attended Middlebury College from 2008 to 2012 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Environmental Studies and Chemistry. Later, from 2016 to 2018, Alison attended Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy to study Public Policy and Management with a specialization in Data Analytics. In 2011, Alison had a brief enrollment at the University of Otago, but the degree and specific field of study are unknown.
