Elena Augusewicz serves as the Director of Business and Administration at Common Ground, New Haven Ecology Project, where responsibilities include overseeing the shift to ADP Workforce Now, maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols, and managing staff payroll. In addition, Elena co-directs Volume Two: A Neverending Books Collective, fostering community engagement through free book distribution and arts programming. Previous roles include University Assistant at Southern Connecticut State University, where inventory and budget management were key tasks, and Environmental Educator for the Charger Club at Ansonia Nature Center. Elena's career began as an Office Manager in a psychiatric practice and as a Technician Assistant at a veterinary hospital. Elena holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from Southern Connecticut State University.
