Owen Symington is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in venture capital and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as Managing Director at Common Sense Ventures since January 2021, Owen focuses on supporting early-stage, fast-growing businesses. Additionally, Owen holds mentoring roles at Startmate and SproutX. Previously, Owen was the CEO of Pod & Parcel from 2019 to 2021, an Associate at Henslow Pty Ltd in 2018-2019, and Head of Strategy at Wake Watch Pty Ltd from 2016 to 2018. Earlier career highlights include serving as Chief of Staff at Nomad Financial and as a Rower for Rowing Australia. Owen's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University, obtained in 2014.
