In the past, Ryan worked as a Sales and Marketing Specialist at Countryside Amish Furniture, a Writer and Communications Assistant at Arnold and Mabel Beckman Institute for Advanced Technology, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Harley Lab Group at UIUC School of Chemical Sciences. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
