Michaela Alcorn has a diverse work experience in the field of admissions. Michaela began their career in 2012 as a Data Room Assistant at Trinity University. In 2013, they served as a Visit Intern at the same university. Michaela continued their involvement with Trinity University in 2014 by working as a Resident Mentor, Trinity's Distinguished Representatives Intern, and a Summer Recruitment Intern. During this time, they also volunteered at the Naranjo Museum of Natural History. In 2015, they returned to Trinity University as an Admissions Intern and Residence Hall Manager. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as an Admissions Counselor and later as an Assistant Director of Admissions at Trinity University. Starting in 2020, they assumed the role of Co-Chair of Admissions Practices Committee at the TEXAS ASSOCIATION FOR COLLEGE ADMISSION COUNSELING INC. Lastly, in 2023, they joined Common App as a Manager of Counselor Engagement.

Michaela Alcorn attended Trinity University from 2012 to 2016, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ancient Mediterranean Studies. In 2015, they also briefly engaged in studies at DIKEMES, focusing on the field of Classics.
