Kristel Joy Biscayda-Armendez

Kristel Joy Biscayda-Armendez serves as the Officer-in-Charge of the Citizens' Help and Assistance Division within the Commission on Human Rights of the Philippines since August 2018. Biscayda-Armendez is a lawyer and has held the position of Attorney IV. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Assistant III for the Department of Education - Philippines and working as a part-time lecturer at the University of Southern Philippines Foundation. Biscayda-Armendez also practiced as an associate lawyer at Cuizon & Associates Attorneys-At-Law and as a paralegal at Tiongco Siao Bello & Associates Law Offices and the City Legal Office in Mandaue City. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Jose-Recoletos and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of San Carlos, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of the Philippines.
