Sharon Cosgrove is an experienced professional currently serving as a Senior Analyst in Decarbonisation at the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) since January 2022, previously holding the position of Policy Analyst focused on Customer Policy Protection & Legal. Prior to CRU, Sharon worked as an Assistant Regional Officer at the Climate Action Regional Office-Atlantic Seaboard North from October 2020 to January 2022 and gained valuable experience as a Graduate Intern at Mayo County Council from May 2019 to October 2020, specializing in Environment, Climate Change, and Agriculture. Earlier roles include Quality Assurance Inspector and Production Operator at Hollister Incorporated from September 2014 to August 2019, and Weekend Manager at Siopa Sinead between 2012 and 2013. Sharon holds a Master's Degree in Natural Resource Economics and Policy from the University of Galway, a Level 6 Certificate in Agriculture from Mayo College of Further Education and Training, and a Bachelor's degree in Environment and Society Studies from the University of Galway.
