Jonathan Clare is an experienced electrical safety professional currently serving as an Electrical Safety Inspector at the Commission for Regulation of Utilities since September 2022. Prior roles include Standards Officer at the National Standards Authority of Ireland, Electrical Project Engineer at JV Tierney & Co. Consulting Engineers, and Technical Consultant at John Clare Training Ltd. Jonathan's career began as an Electrician at Armour Electrical Ltd., following an apprenticeship at Jones Engineering. Academic achievements include a Master of Science in Renewable Energy and Energy Management from Ulster University, a Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Electrical Services Engineering from Technological University Dublin, and a FETAC Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Electrical Craft Apprenticeship from SOLAS. Jonathan also holds a Higher Certificate in Electrical Services Engineering from Technological University Dublin and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Cultural Studies from Dundalk Institute of Technology.
