Jim Sewastynowicz is a seasoned photo editor and freelance photographer with extensive experience in various media environments. Currently serving as a Photo Editor at Commercial Observer since May 2022, Jim oversees photo selection and edits for digital and print platforms, manages freelance photographers, and collaborates on visual concepts. Previously, Jim held the position of Photo Editor at Daily Racing Form for twelve years, enhancing multimedia storytelling and managing a remote design team. Earlier roles include Copy Editor/Page Designer at Hazleton Standard-Speaker and Managing Editor at YRB Magazine, where Jim contributed to production and editorial processes. Jim’s academic background includes a B.A. in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Photojournalism from Winona State University.
