Valissa VanWey currently serves as a Sales Systems and Design Training Specialist at Commerce Bank, a position held since September 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a 7th Grade Science Educator at Atchison Middle School from August 2018 to May 2022, and as a Middle School Science Educator at Bode Middle School from August 2010 to August 2018. Valissa started their educational career as a Teacher's Assistant at Winfield MS between August 2008 and May 2010. In addition to a robust teaching background, Valissa has experience in account management and executive roles at Karsh\Hagan and GlynnDevins from 2004 to 2008. Valissa holds a Master's degree in Teaching from Missouri Baptist University and a Bachelor's degree in Strategic Communications from The University of Kansas.
