Sonia Monjas has extensive experience in telecommunications regulation and media policy, currently serving as the Head of Area for EU Media Policy at the CNMC since June 2003. From October 2013 to March 2022, Sonia Monjas held the position of International Affairs Manager at the CNMC and previously worked as a Junior Manager in the Studies and Statistics Department at the CMT from May 2003 to June 2007, where responsibilities included drafting reports on the Spanish telecommunication sector. Sonia Monjas holds a degree in Journalism and Communications and a Master's degree in Business Journalism from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
