Rafael Piqueras Cuartero currently serves as the Director of Competition and EU Law at Deloitte Legal and holds various significant roles including Vocal de la Junta Directiva at the Asociación Española para la Defensa de la Competencia (AEDC) and Non-Governmental Advisor for the International Competition Network (ICN) at the CNMC. With extensive experience in academia, Rafael teaches at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and previously taught at Universidad de Navarra. Prior to these roles, Rafael gained valuable expertise as a Senior Associate in Antitrust, Competition, and Trade at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in EU Competition Law from King's College London, a Master's in Legal Advice for Companies from IE Business School, and a Law degree from Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
