Jay A. Schwarz currently serves as Vice President of Global Public Policy at Comcast, where responsibilities include shaping broadband and technology policy strategy and addressing legislative challenges. Previous experience includes serving as Wireline Advisor to FCC Chairman Ajit V. Pai, overseeing significant wireline communications policy issues, and engaging with various stakeholders. Jay A. Schwarz has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Faculty member at Johns Hopkins University and participated in telecommunications research as a committee member for the Telecommunications Policy Research Conference. Prior roles at the FCC included Deputy Chief of the Office of Strategic Planning, leading research initiatives on spectrum policy and managing cross-functional teams. Jay A. Schwarz holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and multiple degrees in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.
