Niklas Nydahl has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Niklas is currently the Vice President, Head of Talent Acquisition at Combitech Sverige since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Saab as the Global HR Director for over four years, leading a team of 9 HRBP across 11 countries and 19 sites. Niklas also worked as the HR Director - EMEA / Global HR Director at Sandvine from April 2016 to October 2017. Before that, they took parental leave from September 2015 to April 2016. Niklas has also held positions such as Vice President HR Nordic & Baltics at Schneider Electric, Global HR Director at ASSA ABLOY Group, and Global HR Director - Research & Development at SonyEricsson Mobile Communications. Niklas began their career as an HR Manager at Skandia and later served as the Region Director - Southern Sweden/Denmark at P&M Inspiration AB.

Niklas attended Cornell University from 2020 to 2021, focusing on HR Data & Analytics. Between 2007 and 2008, they were enrolled in the Strategic Development Program HR at the University of Michigan. In 2004, they obtained a certification in Compensation & Benefits / International Position Evaluation (IPE) and Job Classification from the Mercer & Blumberg Learning Center. The following year, in 2005, they completed the Leading and Managing High Performance Team course at PSIS Europe. In 2003, Niklas Nydahl earned a Certificate in Occupational Psychology tests from SHL Europe. From 1989 to 1991, they studied Military and Strategic Leadership at Försvarshögskolan - Swedish Defence University.

In addition to their academic education, Niklas Nydahl has obtained various certifications. In 2016, they completed the Technology hiring platform - Assessment of developer skills certification at HackerRank. In 2011, they received the Assessment Center Methodology certification from DDI | Development Dimensions International.
