Spencer Christian is a Chemical Process Engineer at Combined Systems, Inc. since May 2022, specializing in USG grenade fuze operations and focusing on low toxicity pyrotechnic chemistries to enhance user safety and minimize environmental impact. Previously, Spencer worked as an Energetics Chemist at Spectra Technologies, LLC, performing extensive testing on energetic materials. Academic research experience includes synthesizing nano-particle absorbents at Tennessee Technological University for lithium extraction and developing reverse osmosis membrane modifications at Penn State University. Spencer holds a Chemical Engineering degree with Honors and a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Arkansas. Early career experience includes a Technician role at HOMETRONIX, where installation of home automation systems was key.
