Marcus Sonestedt is a highly experienced software engineer with a diverse background in software architecture and development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Combination AB since December 2024, Marcus has previously held notable positions including Senior Software Architect at CELLINK (October 2021 - December 2024), where responsibilities included overseeing software architecture and leading the Qt/Ui domain. Prior roles include Solutions Architect at BIT ADDICT (October 2014 - September 2021), Senior Software Developer Team Lead at Orzone AB (October 2008 - October 2014), and Software Architect at Mentice AB (December 2004 - September 2008). Marcus holds a M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and began the professional journey with a summer internship at Tific AB in 2000.
