Jon Gómez is a Senior Design Engineer at Comatec Group since November 2018, leading the Hydraulic Cylinder team and specializing in the design of hydraulic cylinders for mining drill rigs for Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions. Previous experience includes roles as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Kuka Systems Aerospace, where new product development of a riveting robotic arm for Boeing 777 aircraft was led, and as a Design Engineer at Safran Aircraft Engines, focusing on aircraft engine parts and tolerance calculations. Early career experience spanned various positions in industrial maintenance and process engineering, including work at Renault and Emerson Industrial Automation. Jon Gómez holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad del País Vasco and additional diplomas in Mechatronics and Process Engineering.
