Sam Gehret has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Sam is currently serving as the Head of Solutions Engineering at Column since January 2022. Previously, they worked at Segment as a Principal Solutions Engineer from October 2020 to January 2022 and as a Senior Solutions Engineer from October 2019 to October 2020. Before that, they were a Solutions Architect at Mapbox from June 2018 to October 2019. Sam also has experience at MicroStrategy, where they held multiple roles including Product Manager, Sales Engineer, and Product Owner. Sam started as a Technology Associate in August 2011 and left the company in April 2018. Additionally, Sam worked as an Analyst at Battleground Capital from January 2010 to August 2010.

Sam Gehret obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with Engineering from Dartmouth College, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In 2018, they attended General Assembly for a short period of time and completed a Web Development Immersive program focused on Javascript and Full Stack Applications.
