Geoffrey then attended Purdue University from 1989 to 1990, studying Biology/Biological Sciences. From 1990 to 1993, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences at Purdue University Fort Wayne. Geoffrey continued their education at Indiana University School of Medicine from 1993 to 1997, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Following this, they completed their residency in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana from 1997 to 2000. Finally, they specialized in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, completing a fellowship at Penn State College of Medicine from 2000 to 2003.
