Lee Owens has over 27 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on life insurance and annuities. Lee has held various leadership roles, including Regional Vice President of Sales Northeast at Columbus Life Insurance Company since 2020. In this role, Lee is responsible for training and recruiting independent broker dealers, IMO's, BGA's, and general agents in the Northeast region. Lee also serves as a product and marketing trainer to help agencies and agents grow their businesses. Prior to their current position, Lee worked as a Senior Regional Life Consultant at Western & Southern Financial Group from 2018 to 2020, a Regional Sales Vice President at Prudential Financial from 2015 to 2018, a Regional Vice President at AIG American General from 2011 to 2015, a Regional Vice President at MetLife from 2008 to 2011, a Regional Director at Mass Mutual from 2006 to 2010, and a Senior Regional Vice President at Genworth Financial from 1993 to 2006. Lee began their career at General Electric in 1993 as a Regional Vice President.

Lee Owens attended Ferrum College from 1984 to 1987, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Marketing. Following this, from 1990 to 1993, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Management at Christopher Newport University.
