Steve Su is a seasoned actuarial professional with extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Second Vice President and Plan Actuary at Columbian Financial Group since June 2021, where responsibilities include leading a team in updating Axis projection models and preparing annual financial plans. Prior to this role, Steve held various director-level positions at Prudential Insurance from April 2010 to June 2021, overseeing statutory reserve standards, converting legacy business to the Axis platform, and managing traditional forecasting. Earlier experiences include roles at Guardian Life as an Actuarial Associate and at MetLife in various actuarial functions across different departments. Steve Su holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Statistics and Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley.
