Brian Malcom is a seasoned engineering professional with a robust background in mechanical and controls engineering. Currently serving as a Controls Engineer at Columbia Machine, Inc. since July 2020, Brian previously held the role of Project Manager at Applied Motion Systems, Inc. where responsibilities included managing teams across various engineering projects. Brian's career began at Columbia Machine, Inc. in 1994 as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on hydraulic concrete block-making machines, and spanned over a decade at Sawyer Systems, LLC where responsibilities included mechanical equipment design and hydraulic simulation. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University, earned in 1994.
