Janet Barrett has extensive experience in admissions and education, currently serving as the Director of Grammar School Admission and previously as the Associate Director of Admissions at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School since 2001. Prior to this role, Janet held the position of Director of Admissions at Leman Manhattan Preparatory School from August 2011 to July 2014 and worked as a teacher at Horace Mann School between 1991 and 1998. Janet Barrett holds a Master of Science in the Art of Teaching from Sarah Lawrence College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Syracuse University, along with an educational background from Riverdale Country School.
