Karen McSweeney has extensive experience in social services, currently serving as a Senior Caseworker specializing in Adoptions and Foster Care at the Columbia County Department of Social Services since November 2003. Prior to this role, Karen worked as a Service Delivery Coordinator at Catholic Charities from 2000 to 2004 and held positions in administrative support and accounts receivable at White & Case LLP and Peerless Importers during the late 1980s. Educationally, Karen McSweeney holds a Master of Arts in Public and Social Policy from SUNY Empire State College and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University at Albany. Early education was completed at The Mary Louis Academy from 1981 to 1985.
