Michael Aufiero is a seasoned professional in the field of computer science with extensive experience across various roles and organizations. Currently serving as a Research Programmer Architect at Augusta University since April 2007, Aufiero oversees the development and maintenance of informatics resources for academic research projects, including web portals and databases. Aufiero has previously held positions as Research Programmer Analyst III at Augusta University and Poll Manager for the Columbia County Board of Elections. Prior experiences include roles at CSRA EOA, Inc. as a DBA/Microcomputer & Network Support Technician and Goodwill Industries as an Internal Auditor, where Aufiero contributed to database administration, technical support, and staff development. Michael Aufiero holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Augusta University and is pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at Kennesaw State University, alongside a completed Master of Science in Cyber Security and Counterterrorism from Kennesaw State University.
