Alex Casado, CPA, serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the Columbia County School District since October 2019. Prior to this role, Alex held the position of Assistant Chief Financial Officer at Greene County School System from April 2017 to October 2019 and worked as a Senior Auditor at the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts from February 2013 to April 2017. Alex began the professional career as a Financial Services Risk Intern at ADP in 2012. Alex holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Augusta University (2013-2015) and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the same institution (2008-2012). The educational background also includes a High School Diploma from Athens Academy.
