Jan Teertstra is an experienced national and international site manager currently operating as a registered freelance site supervisor since December 2012. With a strong background in inspection and control, Jan has worked extensively on major projects, including installations at Vedanta Aluminium smelter in India, Nordural Aluminium smelter in Iceland, and KAS Aluminium smelter in Kazakhstan while serving as a Senior Inspector at COLT INTERNATIONAL since August 2014. As the owner of JT Construktion Service since 2003, Jan has also engaged in various site management roles, notably at Andritz Thermtec B.V., Selmers, and Heinen & Hopman Engineering BV. Jan possesses a range of safety and technical qualifications, including VCA-VOL certification, first aid, and forklift driver license, contributing to a robust skill set for managing complex construction and engineering projects.
