Sonja Sutherland currently serves as the Colorado Springs Airport Maintenance Manager, a position held since January 2020, responsible for directing and managing the Airportā€™s Airside, Landside, and Terminal Maintenance operations. Previously, Sutherland worked as the Operations Manager at Maidpro Colorado Springs from September 2018 to September 2019, overseeing various business operations including customer service and financial planning. A veteran of the United States Air Force from June 1993 to October 2014, Sutherland held multiple roles including Maintenance Flight Chief/Project Manager, where leadership extended to 78 personnel and encompassed technical guidance and supply chain management. Sutherland's educational background includes a Project Management certification from Syracuse University, a Bachelor of Business Administration from American Military University, and an Associateā€™s degree in Aerospace Ground Equipment Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
