Collin Appleby is an experienced outdoor leadership professional currently serving as Course Director, On-call Coordinator, Instructor, and Logistics Coordinator at the Colorado Outward Bound School since June 2021. Collin held the position of Climate Adaptation Program Intern at Utah State University Extension from January to April 2024, while also working as an Outdoor Program Trip Leader at Utah State University from September 2023 to April 2024. Collin's background includes roles such as Ski Race Development Coach at Team Summit Colorado and Administrative Coordinator/Guide at Apex Mountain School. Collin has also contributed to the Rocky Mountain Outdoor Center as a Ski and Rock Guide, and served as Outdoor Studies/Avalanche Science Program Coordinator at Colorado Mountain College. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Outdoor Product Design and Development from Utah State University and an Associate's degree in Outdoor Recreational Leadership from Colorado Mountain College.
