Michelle Herring is the Senior Database Administrator at Colorado Ballet. Michelle has held this position since February 2021.

Prior to their current role, Michelle was the Patron Services Manager at Opera Colorado from February 2018 to February 2021. In this role, they managed all in-person, phone, and online single ticket and subscription sales of $1.3+ million annually, oversaw and ensured extraordinary and personable service for 30,000+ patrons annually, built and maintained all performances, subscriptions, and promotions in Tessitura CRM, and supervised all transactions and batch postings while maintaining PCI compliance. Michelle also researched and implemented new sources of earned and contributed revenue in collaboration with all departments.

Before their time at Opera Colorado, Michelle was the Box Office Manager at Theatre Aspen from May 2017 to February 2018. In this role, they were responsible for managing all box office operations, including ticket sales, customer service, group sales, and volunteer coordination.

Michelle began their career in the arts as Evening Events Staff at the Tenement Museum from January 2015 to December 2016. In this role, they assisted with event set-up and breakdown, greeted guests, and provided customer service.

Michelle Herring received their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from New York University.
