Kristina Lamia (Turi) currently serves as Principal at Colonial School District since July 2018, following a previous role as Principal at The School District of Philadelphia from July 2015 to July 2018. Kristina's educational leadership journey includes serving as a Resident at PhillyPLUS and as an Assistant Principal at Universal Companies, where involvement in an alternative certification program for leadership in urban schools took place. Prior experience includes positions as a Special Education Teacher at Mastery Charter Schools and Chester Community Charter School, as well as an Elementary Teacher. Kristina is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration at the American College of Education, having previously earned a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education with a literacy minor from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
