Vidyashree J has a diverse work experience spanning several notable companies. Vidyashree started their career at Infosys in 2005 as a Senior Officer Accounts and worked there until 2007. Following this, they joined Ernst & Young as an Executive in 2007 for a brief period of time. In 2008, Vidyashree joined Goldman Sachs where they held the roles of Associate from 2008 to 2012 and Vice President from 2013 to 2023. Most recently, they have been appointed as the Head of India Operations at Colmore, starting in 2023.

Vidyashree J completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from Mount Carmel College between 1999 and 2002. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a degree in Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
