Nathan Smith is an experienced engineering professional with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wichita State University. Currently serving as a VAVE Engineer at Collins Bus Corporation since July 2021, Nathan previously held the position of Manufacturing Engineer at Wifco Steel Products, Inc., where responsibilities included enhancing production efficiency and creating assemblies using 3D CAD. Prior to that, Nathan worked as an Inventory Specialist and Quality Control at Mears Fertilizer Inc., overseeing the procurement of raw materials and ensuring adherence to quality control procedures. Nathan's career began as the Owner and Project Manager of Rolling Plains Landscaping, followed by a role as Operator II for the City of El Dorado, where Nathan was involved in the installation and maintenance of water and sewer infrastructure.
