Ian Tournes

B2C and Specialist Media Senior Adviser at Collingwood Advisory

Ian Tournes has worked in the media industry since 1992. Ian began their career as a Planner/Buyer at AMS Advertising Inc. Ian then moved to Starcom MediaVest Group in 1994, where they were responsible for running the COI account and was appointed Press Buyer/Manager on numerous national press accounts. In 2001, they moved to Mediacom as an Associate Director, where they were responsible for running the COI (UK Government) account. In 2006, they joined Time Inc. as Group Trading Director (Multimedia), where they were responsible for Time Inc.'s relationships with agencies and key clients. In 2017, they became Commercial Director, EMEA at Time Out Group plc, where they were in charge of all commercial revenue in the UK and France, whilst also tasked with building agency relationships, revenue, and deals across EMEA and globally. In 2022, Ian founded Tournes Media Consultancy and became a B2C and Specialist Media Senior Adviser at Collingwood Advisory Ltd.

Ian Tournes attended Emanuel from 1982 to 1990 and then University of the Arts London from 1990 to 1992, where they studied Marketing & Advertising.
