Neil Matkin currently serves as District President at Collin College, a position held since April 2015, leading an institution that serves over 50,000 students annually. Prior roles include Executive Vice President of the Louisiana Community & Technical College System, President of San Jacinto Community College District, Vice Chancellor of Information Technology Services for the Virginia Community College System, Executive Director of the Illinois Century Network, Associate Director for the Illinois Board of Higher Education, and Department Chair at Ambassador University. Matkin holds multiple degrees, including an Ed.D. in Higher Education from Texas A&M University-Commerce, an MBA in Information Systems Management from The University of Dallas, and an MS in Telecommunications Management from Golden Gate University.
