Lester McKee is the Executive Director of CSF-DC at the College Success Foundation. Lester has worked in education for over 15 years, including time with the Atlanta Public Schools, where they served as Program Administrator for K-12 College and Career Readiness Programs. In this role, they oversaw initiatives such as dual enrollment programs, work-ready initiatives, and the district's Career and Technical Education Program. Lester also represented the school system on the Mayor's Youth Council and the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency. Lester McKee is passionate about helping students succeed in college and careers, and they are dedicated to ensuring that all students have access to quality education and opportunity.
Lester McKee began their educational career by earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Dillard University. Lester continued their education at William Paterson University of New Jersey, where they earned a Master of Arts in Multicultural Education and Urban Sociology. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Education from the University of Pennsylvania in Higher Education Leadership.
