Tom Begnel is a seasoned technology and business leader with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Business Integration & Relationship Management at the College of American Pathologists since December 2019, Tom previously held significant roles at HSBC from June 2006 to October 2019, including US IT Chief Operating Officer, where responsibilities encompassed financial management, vendor oversight, and managing a substantial operating budget. Tom's prior positions include Director of the IT Group at the American Medical Association, where Tom directed critical applications development, and roles at Tribune Company, American Bar Association, Amoco, and McKinsey & Company, focusing on systems consulting and application support. Tom holds an MBA in Finance, Marketing, and Strategy from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
