Linda Oubre, EdD, MBA, currently serves as a Board Member for the College Futures Foundation, focusing on enhancing access to post-secondary education for under-served learners in California. Oubre is also a Board Member of the Palm Springs Art Museum and a Campaign Committee Member for KIPP SoCal Public Schools. As President Emerita of Whittier College, Oubre has held significant leadership roles and is a member of the Board of Advisors for Harvard Business School. Previous positions include Dean of the College of Business at San Francisco State University and Executive Director of Corporate Relations and Business Development at UC Davis. Oubre founded and led LSO Ventures and has experience as a lecturer at San Diego State University. Oubre holds a Doctorate in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BA in Economics from UCLA, graduating with Cum Laude honors.
