Hilary Velasquez is a dedicated education and program management professional with extensive experience in supporting low-income and first-generation college students. Currently serving as a Program Manager at College Forward since March 2019, Hilary excels in identifying student needs, monitoring academic progress, and overseeing a team of AmeriCorps Members. In addition, Hilary has held roles such as Lead Activity Specialist for the City of Austin, where programming and staff training were key responsibilities, and served as an Adult Education Instructor at Austin Community College, teaching ESL and GED subjects. Previous experience includes roles as a Personal Trainer at Camp Gladiator, a General Education Teacher with the Del Valle Independent School District, and a Student Teacher at The University of Texas at Austin. Academically, Hilary holds a Master of Education in High Incidence Disabilities and a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Learning and Development.
