Kayla Soyer-Stein is a freelance writer, editor, and teacher from New York City. A graduate of Oberlin College, where she majored in Creative Writing and minored in French, she went on to earn her M.F.A. in Fiction from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where she was an Iowa Arts Fellow. She has over ten years of experience writing and teaching in various capacities, including to undergraduates at the University of Iowa, graduate students in Southern New Hampshire University’s College of Online and Continuing Education, and high school students through several nonprofit organizations in New York.
