Tesfaye Tiko has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a teacher at College de Heemlanden since November 2001, responsible for teaching and creating lesson materials. Prior to this role, Tesfaye taught at Montessori Lyceum Herman Jordan from September 2002 to August 2003. Academic research was conducted at Universiteit Utrecht from October 1997 to October 2001, with a focus on the effectiveness of labor market policies. Tesfaye holds a Drs degree in research on labor markets from Utrecht University and a Doctoraal degree in Economics from the University of Groningen, complemented by early education completed at Leeuwarden.
