Sjoerd Nijsse is an experienced educator and test engineer with a strong background in chemistry and quality assurance. Currently serving as a Docent scheikunde at College de Heemlanden since August 2018, Sjoerd previously taught chemistry at Sint Janslyceum from September 2017 to July 2018. Prior to their teaching career, Sjoerd held various engineering roles, including Quality Assurance Test Engineer at HERE and TomTom, focusing on embedded navigation systems, and worked as an Interoperability Tester at ASML, improving communication quality between TwinScan components. Sjoerd's consultancy experience includes significant tenures at SOGETI High Tech, collaborating with notable companies like TomTom and ASML. An academic background includes a Master’s from Radboud University and a Master of Science in Chemistry from Utrecht University, alongside prior experience as a Student Assistent at Universiteit Utrecht.
