Shad Carlson has worked in various roles since 2015. Shad started as a Software Analyst at Polis E-Discovery in 2015, then became a Business Intelligence Intern at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 2017. In 2018, they moved to Poulton & Associates as a Data Analyst, and then to the University of Utah School of Medicine as a Research Assistant in 2019. Currently, they are a Data Engineer at Collective Medical.

Shad Carlson has a Master's degree in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Utah School of Medicine (2019-2021) and a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems from Utah State University (2012-2017).
